February: Continuity of Friendship

During the time of February, our group decided to meet up with the staff working at the school again. This time, we brought chocolate for the staff members and soon realized that people loved chocolate more than anything else! We greeted them and asked them what was going on in their life and their relationship with God.

January: The Year of Dragon

After the Christmas and Chinese New Year break, we've decided to meet with them once more to greet them "新年快乐" (Happy New Year!). Then we've talked to them about their holiday and how they spent their time with their family. We've also treated them with one of the most famous Chinese New Year foods called "萝卜糕" (carrot cake)

December: Blessings of Christmas

"We wish you a Merry Christmas!" we told them. During the tine of Christmas, Christie made cookies whilst the others made cards to wish them a very happy Christmas. They were especially excited this time because they have no work during the holiday! We were talking and chatting about what we were going to do during this holiday and told them what makes this holiday special.

November: The Relationship Sprouts

During the third time, we managed to memorize all their names and even they remembered us that every month, we will be able to visit and spent time with them! In return, they actually started to welcome us so we thanked them and told them about the goals of our project and what we actually wanted to achieve.

October: A Growing Relationship

During the next month, we started asking their names and began to learn more about their personal life and past experiences. Even though they didn't really want to answer the questions, we never forced them and even thank them for contributing. We distributed chocolate cake to all the staffs and workers, and they absolutely loved it!

September: The Beginning

September marks the beginning of our MAD project, at first we didn't know what we were going to say to them and thought of some easy questions that they can answer without feeling uncomfortable. Even though it was a very uneasy task to think of the things to say to them, we were able to successfully accomplish the task to make them feel comfortable and welcomed around us.
